UK Athletics launches new ticket security website

With shady ticket brokers on every corner and the Kansas game looming, UK Athletics introduced a fancy new web page this week as part of its continuing effort to educate fans about ticket security.

A press release says, “The web page is designed to assist fans in purchasing verified tickets and to protect their tickets once they do.”

UK Athletics would also like to remind you to be careful with unauthorized sellers and that there are only five ticket outlets authorized to sell tickets to UK Athletics events: (1) UK Athletics Ticket Office, (2) Ticketmaster or TicketExchange, (3) Rupp Arena Box Office, (4) ReplyBuy, and (5) the visiting team ticket office. Only tickets purchased directly from these five sources are guaranteed to be valid. You’re gambling if you purchase¬†tickets through any other source¬†and UK is unable to provide support for tickets purchased through unauthorized sellers.

For more on UK’s ticketing policy and some rules to live by, go to the new Ticket Security website here. Lots of info there that you may find beneficial and had not known otherwise.
