6th ranked PG? Definitely not the norm for Cal. Is he betting on Hawkins taking the reigns his 2nd year in the system? I trust Cal, just not used to seeing him go hard after a moderately-rated PG.

Bring Okafor along with you while you’re at it, Tyler! And throw in Booker as well.

Curious Cat you are absolutely clueless! This kid is much better than his ranking! Just watch and see. Hawkins can not stay in front of Ulis and neither can anyone other guard…

By your reasoning, how would Hawkins even play (since you judge rankings)? Ulis is amazing and so smart with the rock in his hands. Perfect player with the talent that will be surrounding him….

Thanks for the quick reply, Jeff! That’s why I’m asking the questions, because I haven’t seen him play. From what I’m hearing he doesn’t sound like the Wall/Teague/Knight PG’s we’ve seen Cal have success with at UK. Honestly, I’m not the least bit concerned about him, just curious to know more.

I think he said he’s coming to UK, but it’s hard to tell. I think they’re streaming this via a 14.4 modem.

Okafor’s coach said, Tyler Ulis was the best pure PG in the country, good enough for me!

I love this young man. Gonna b hard to stay in front of. Great vision and passing skills. Little jitter bug. No sissy either.
