Two Wildcat swimmers advance to finals of Olympic qualifier

Big congratulations to Bridgette Alexander and Danielle Galyer for advancing to the final of the women’s 200M backstroke at Olympic trials. Alexander and Galyer finished sixth and seventh tonight to move on to tomorrow’s final race, for a spot in the Olympics in Rio.

Good luck, Bridgette and Danielle!!!

    I have been impressed by the number of athletes from Kentucky this year in the Olympic Swim Trials. There have always been a few; this year has been a good one. It is nice to see.
