Two potential transfers visiting UK today
Two former members of the Nebraska football team are on their way to Lexington today to explore the option of transferring to Kentucky. Linebacker Courtney Love, who many believe will become a Wildcat, will visit UK today and we’re told he’s bringing tight end Greg Hart with him.
Both guys are from Ohio and Love is from Stoops’ and Marrow’s own dirt in Youngstown. He was a four-star prospect at linebacker at Cardinal Mooney High School in the 2013 class and Marrow played a key role in getting him to Nebraska.
Keep an eye on this one because Love, maybe even Hart, could decide to sit out another year of football (they’re redshirt freshmen) to join the Cats in 2016.
Love and Hart has a ring to it, doesn’t it?

If they already red-shirted a year, and didn’t even play a game for Nebraska, then they shouldn’t have to sit out another year if they transfer. The NCAA is the pinnacle of stupidity. Players from all sports should be able to transfer to the school of their choice and play immediately.
They did play this year as redshirt freshmen, though sparingly. Still, your point stands that the NCAA is stupid.
It will be cool to have some 6th year seniors though.
Never mind, misread it. My bad.
I’ve heard that Love will apply for a hardship (don’t know the reason) – if approved, he won’t have to sit …. I think. THAT would be HUGE for next year if so.
