On Monday, former Kentucky stars Garrett “Juice” Johnson and Austin MacGinnis were announced as two of the draft-eligible players in the upcoming XFL Draft.

Today, two more former Wildcats were added to the list.

This afternoon, former Kentucky quarterback Patrick Towles and defensive lineman Adrian Middleton were added to the draft pool, with the entire list of participants now pushing roughly 400 players.

By the end of the week, the pool will likely grow to roughly 1,000 players to fill the 71 roster spots per team.

The first second XFL Draft will take place Tuesday, October 15 and Wednesday, October 16. The eight teams will be assigned a quarterback before they initiate the five-phased draft.

1. Skill Players (QB, RB, WR, TE)
2. Offensive Line (OT, OG, OC)
3. Defensive Front Seven (DL, LB)
4. Defensive Backfield (CB, NB, SS, FS)
5. Open Draft (all remaining players after positional drafts, in addition to P/K/LS)

We’ll see throughout the week which other former Wildcats will be added to the list…

Hell, I might join a XFL fantasy league just to maybe force myself into watching some of this.
