On Memorial Day eve, the sports world was locked in on a golf special event and we weren’t really sure how things would go once the weather forecast was released. It was raining cats and dogs in Hobe Sound, Florida and that caused a delay in the second version of “The Match.” However, the show must go on and the result was an entertaining product.

Now it’s time to wrap up the event and no place does it better than Twitter. For those unaware, Golf Twitter is highly entertaining and most everyone was locked in on this Sunday showcase. From the awful playing conditions, to making fun of Tom Brady and seeing Tiger Woods on top of his game everyone seemed to be in top form.

I’m all in for a third version sometime son.

Custom golf carts are pretty dope.

Bombs and Hellacious Seeds

A bit wet out there.

Tiger was the best player all day and it wasn’t even that close.

We even had a Kirby Smart name drop and TB12 bashing Smokey. SEC is still king.

The front nine became the unofficial roast of  Tom Brady and there were a lot of darts being thrown at the best quarterback of all-time.

All until Brady turned it around on the 7th hole.

After a clutch eagle, social distancing rules were still in place.

The rain again started to pick up on unlucky No. 13. Welcome to Twitter, Eli.

Phil and Brady scream back to tie it on the back nine, but Tiger and Manning quickly seized control and Big Cat delivered the knockout punch on the 18th green.

Let’s do this again sooner rather than later.

It was really fun,and funny to watch, ” suck it Chuck”, and I’m not even a Brady fan.
But you are mistaken,Brady and Mickelson never did come back to time it on the back 9,Tiger and Peyton were 3 up on the front, and the closest it got ,and finished that way was 1 up, or 1 down, however, but it was never tied after they went 3 up.
