Trae Young’s subtweeting John Calipari again

It’s been a busy few days to say the least, but this morning, John Calipari reminded his Twitter followers that his new book, “Success Is The Only Option: The Art of Coaching Extreme Talent” comes out tomorrow. In a classic humblebrag, Cal tweeted, “As I’m in the middle of my preparation with Michigan State, I was reminded I have a book coming out Tuesday. The book is about coaching young, extreme talent. The process and the challenges. I think it’s a good read, but that’s just me.”

So, I see it as no coincidence that a few minutes later, Trae Young, Calipari’s top target in the 2017 class, tweeted this:

It’s even less of a coincidence when you consider that Young liked my tweet pointing that out:

It’s also worth noting that this isn’t the first time Young has tweeted the title of Cal’s new book. Young also tweeted it after Cal’s in-home visit back in September:

Last week, Young said he’s going to wait until January to announce his decision and sign in the spring. It’s considered a two-horse race between the Cats and the hometown Oklahoma Sooners, but hopefully, this is Trae’s way of reminding the BBN just how much he likes Calipari and Kentucky.
