It was a busy couple of days for a handful of highly-rated Kentucky Football targets.
After WR Tajh Sanders put Kentucky in his top five on Thursday and OLB Joshua Josephs did the same on Friday with his top eight, another prospect from the class of 2022 announced that he’s heavily considering picking the Wildcats–but this one stands out more than the other two. Elijah Pritchett, a four-star offensive tackle ranked by 247 Sports as the No. 128 player in his class, dropped his list of top eight potential schools on Friday evening with UK sneaking in alongside some of college football’s powerhouse programs.
In addition to Kentucky, Pritchett is considering the likes of Georgia, Florida State, Arkansas, Alabama, Southern California, LSU, and Virginia Tech. He holds just one prediction from 247 Sports and Rivals, a March 18th Crystal Ball selection from Steve Wiltfong in favor of the Crimson Tide.

Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 285 pounds, Pritchett will make his final decision on July 2 and he currently does not have any official visits planned.
Kentucky extended its offer back in December of 2020, before Arkansas, Southern California, LSU, and Virginia Tech came along, but well-after big-time programs in Alabama, Florida State, and in-state Georgia. Prying Pritchett out of Georgia or preventing him from skipping over to Alabama will be a tough challenge for Kentucky, but one they have consistently shown they are up to taking on.
