While you’re following the three Wildcats in tonight’s NBA Draft, you should also keep a close eye on a couple of our old pals from Mega Bemax — you know, that team Kentucky beat by a million down in the Bahamas last fall.
Two of Mega Bemax’s players from that beating are projected to get drafted tonight (not my guy Fundic, unfortunately). One of them, Goga Bitadze, is expected to go middle of the first round; the other, Adam Mokoka, should hear his name called in the second.
Against Kentucky back at Atlantis, Bitadze, a 6-11 center, scored only five points (all free throws) with three rebounds. Mokoka wasn’t any better; he missed all 11 of his shots from the field (0 for 11!) and had one rebound.
Bitadze picked up some pre-draft buzz for this incredible photo taken at NBA Draft Media Day when he drew the unfortunate spot next to Zion Williamson.
Good luck to both.
