Eyes down here.
Are you ready for a big Tuesday? We have a lot coming your way, so let’s get right to it.
We’re releasing this week’s KSR Football Podcast today.
Here in about 30 minutes, your favorite podcasting crew will meet at the studio to record a new edition of your favorite podcast. Look for it to go online this evening, unlike last week when it took three days to give you your fix.
More of our UK basketball player interviews to come.
I believe you’ll get Wenyen Gabriel and Quade Green today, assuming I am able to get them edited while balancing my other other KSR responsibilities.
In case you missed it, Kevin Knox and Hamidou Diallo got the series started yesterday:
Here’s Calipari’s insanely long interview, too:
But don’t forget: it’s still football season.
The spread on Saturday’s game is down to 10.
After opening up as a 14-point favorite, a four-point shift in the line now has Kentucky giving up 10 points to visiting Missouri. It is the biggest line movement of the week, but why?
My opinion is because Kentucky can’t blow anyone out, but it may be because, as Mark Stoops said on his call-in show, Missouri is a team on the verge of figuring it out. He compared this year’s Mizzou team to his own team last season.
“We knew sitting in our meeting room that we had a pretty good team, we just hadn’t put it all together yet and hadn’t played really well in certain areas,” Stoops said. “But everybody in our building believed that we would get it corrected. I’m sure they feel the same way. I was very quick to point it out to our team, the way we started and the way we finished.”
We will hear from Coach Eddie Gran and the offense today.
It’s Tuesday, which means offensive coordinator Eddie Gran will answer any and all questions from the media following this afternoon’s practice. Select members of the offensive will also be available for questions, and we’ll have all of the quotes and notes you need here on Kentucky-Sports-Radio-dot-com.
Movie Review: I saw It last night.
It is not the type of movie I would normally pay to see, but I really enjoyed it. I rarely get into any fictional horror (clowns, ghosts, monsters, flying bears, etc.) movies; however, It was very well done and reminded me a little bit of The Goonies, a childhood favorite of mine. So go see it. It won’t give you nightmares and it has a little bit of everything. Good movie.
Troy head coach Neal Brown to make appearances on KSR and Sportscenter this morning.
Be on the lookout for those.
