KSBar and Grille has been open for just a little over a year. In that short time we’ve done some cool promotions. Sorry to all the past contests, but nothing can compare to the Hammer it Out of the Park promo.
We’re giving out $50 after every home run in the MLB Playoffs. Yesterday there were four games. Money was flying off the shelves. Between 2-5 there were nine home runs. At one point, there were back-to-back bombs. It was exhilarating watching the ball sail toward the outfield wall. I can only imagine how much more fun that would be if you could potentially make $50.
The action begins tonight 7:07 when the Rays host the Astros in Game 4 of the ALDS. If baseball and free money doesn’t interest you, there’s some football talk to get to.
Nick Bosa got Baker Mayfield
The former Ohio State Buckeye got the last laugh on Monday Night Football. Bosa sacked Mayfield twice in the 31-3 win and showed the world his best flag-planting impression

Mark Stoops is seeing how Sawyer Smith Feels
At Monday’s press conference Mark Stoops was optimistic about his quarterback’s status, but did not have too many details to share other than Sawyer feels ‘significantly better.’
“He’s banged up. You guys know that,” Stoops said. “You know the other options that we’ve been working. We’ll proceed with Sawyer and anticipate him being the starting quarterback and being able to play this week so that’s the plan and we’ll see how the week goes.”
UK Football Returns to Practice
We will not get a chance to hear from Smith tonight. We will get to hear from Eddie Gran, Lynn Bowden and the rest of UK’s offense after practice. Expect to see updates tonight on KSR.
A New KSR Football Podcast
The gang went back into the lab to record more than an hour of amazing audio. The topics range from being washed old men, soccer, Jared Lorenzen, Lynn Bowden and the Atlanta Braves. It was pretty wacky. As a treat, I also added a 15-minute interview with Josh Allen to the KSR Football Podcast feed. You’re welcome.
You should listen to Sources Say Today
A LOT happened on the basketball recruiting front over the last four days. Yesterday Jack Pilgrim reported that John Calipari paid Cade Cunningham a visit to start the week. Cunningham will return the favor with an official visit this weekend. Pilgrim will talk about all of the developments on the recruiting front with Travis Graf and David Sisk. You don’t want to miss it.
The NBA season begins two weeks from today. Until then, the preseason games are providing entertaining internet content, like Marcus Morris throwing a basketball off somebody’s face. I’d give his ‘Off the Heezay’ a 5.2 on a scale of 1/10, only because the ball technically left Morris’ hands.
Marcus Morris had 17 1st half points then gets ejected seconds into the 3rd quarter for hitting Justin Anderson in the face with the ball! pic.twitter.com/zzHdAj2ujf
