Good morning, KSR readers! How are you today? That’s good to hear. Me, I’ve been better. I have something in my right eye at the moment and I can’t see out of it. I don’t think it is anything to worry about but I am going to have to do this with one eye until I can give it the time and care it deserves. Putting words on KSR takes priority though, so let’s get to it.
The basketball team is back on campus.
Family time is over for the 2019-20 Kentucky basketball team as each of John Calipari’s players traveled from their hometowns to Lexington over the weekend to begin the summer. The team — both the old players and the new — arrived on campus yesterday and got right to the gym, according to social media. Their schedule picks up tomorrow with the the start of Coach Cal’s satellite camps around the state and plenty more to do throughout the offseason. Welcome back.
OK, fess up… Who talked Immanuel Quickley’s ear off on his flight?
Quickley flew Southwest from Baltimore to Kentucky yesterday and someone wore him out with questions.

Who did it? I know you’re out there.
DeMarcus Cousins made a huge impact in Warriors’ Game 2 win.
Boogie saw his minutes jump from eight minutes in Game 1 to 28 minutes in Game 2 and the Warriors won in Toronto last night because of it. Cousins finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and two blocks while recording the highest +/- on the team, in addition to playing good defense and looking like John Stockton at times. It was only Cousins’ second game back from injury and he looked great when his team desperately needed help.
After the game, Cousins said, “I don’t take any of this for granted. I’ve seen how quick this game can be taken away from you, so every chance I get to go out there and play, I’m going to leave it on the floor.”
Game of Thrones Trivia and the American Outlaws at KSBAr and Grille this Wednesday.
Join us for a Game of Thrones-themed trivia night at KSBar and Grille this coming Wednesday night. We will also be hosting the American Outlaws for a game watch party as the USMNT takes on Jamaica in a Gold Cup warm-up game.
Today’s KSR guest host is Aaron Torres.
Aaron Torres will lead things off in the KSR guest host rotation today. Torres got up extra early out there on the west coast to fill in for Matt Jones for two hours on the KSR airwaves this morning. Listen in to hear what he has to say about college basketball and his new beef with Australia.
To get prepared for the upcoming guests, you can see the full guest host schedule here.
Now I gotta go get this eye figured out.
