Good Morning Big Blue Nation! I want to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to my mom and all the special Mother’s out there on this day of celebration.

After a one day break in the playoffs, the NBA returns today with two elimination games. 76ers vs. Raptors, and Nuggets vs. Blazers.

Nuggets Look to Advance in Game 7

Jamal Murray and the Nuggets will host their second Game 7 of the 2019 playoffs with a trip to the Western Conference Finals on the line against the Blazers. Murray has played extremely well in this series, out-lasting Damian Lillard at times, but game 7 is a different animal.

Most ‘experts’ expect the more experienced Lillard to come through in the clutch, but don’t count Murray out. Tune into ABC at 3:30 to see him and the Nuggets in what is the biggest game of Murray’s young career.

Frank Vogel is the Head Coach of the Los Angeles Lakers

The former UK student manager signed a 3 year deal to be the coach of the most storied franchise in the NBA. Vogel arrives at the Lakers after coaching the Orlando Magic and the Indiana Pacers with his most success coming in Indiana where he had a winning percentage of 58%.

Vogel is a very good x’s and o’s coach, but in the NBA, it takes a lot more to win especially with the drama that consistently surrounds the Lakers. Vogel must develop a good relationship with Lebron if he wants to be successful in LA.

Snell, then went on to explain what he calls Benny Snell Football, when his team has the ball & the lead – “It’s feed him, feed him, let him run it out. He might dance a little bit, but he’s going to run back and do it again.”
