VisitLex tapped into the ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) video trend with Neigh-SMR, a parody of ASMR’s soothing sounds. Neigh-SMR mocks those videos made to send tingling sensations up your spine, with a video of a horse eating an assortment food in a barn.
Give it watch this morning to see if it gives you any static-like reactions or if it encourages you to visit Lexington.
Johnny Juzang to make a “big announcement” later today.
Around 7:30 Eastern Standard Time, Class of 2020 basketball prospect Johnny Juzang will make a “big announcement,” he tweeted Tuesday. The big announcement is expected to be his reclassification into the Class of 2019, which would enable him to play college basketball next season. The decision comes only days after Juzang picked up an offer to UK while hosting John Calipari on a visit from the coaching staff, and Evan Daniels reported Juzang set up a return to visit to Kentucky this coming Monday.
Juzang is a 6-6 small forward, currently ranked 21st nationally among high school juniors. He is also a serious contender to fill the spot left open by the departure of Jemarl Baker.
Read more about him in Aaron Torres’ interview with his AAU coach.
Calipari to visit RJ Hampton.
According to Corey Evans over at Rivals.com, Calipari will travel to see the No. 1 player in the 2020 class today. Like Juzang, Hampton is another prospect rumored to be leaning toward reclassifying, and Hampton lists Kansas, Duke, and Memphis among his favorite, along with the Cats. Hampton is a point guard and Kentucky already has a lot of those, so it might be better for us if he stays put in 2020, although he is very close to Tyrese Maxey.

CAC will plant 5,000 blue pinwheels (the national symbol for child abuse prevention) in the shape of a large “25” on the lawn of Lexington Shriners Medical Center, its previous location.
Everyone is invited to go out and plant a pinwheel as they try to break the current world record of 2,222 pinwheels, held by an Abu Dhabi hotel company in the United Arab Emirates. The CAC has been approved by the Guinness World Record to attempt to break the current record.
