Congratulations, guys. We made it to the end of a very weird work week. I don’t know about you all, but yesterday felt like it should have been Saturday, which made it the Mondayest Thursday ever. But, don’t let there be a doubt; today is Friday and the weekend is right around the corner. Hallelujah.

John Calipari is in Vegas to check in on his guys, having dinner with a dozen of them last night:
“I’m watching 13 summer league games in the next two days,” Cal tweeted. “Will see about 12-13 at dinner tonight. Looking fwd to seeing all of our guys!!! I’m excited to see everyone and have them tell me I held them all back and subbed them on every missed shot!! Oh, and that I yelled? Really??
“By the way, I let our current guys go home for the weekend to spend some time with their families. Most of our guys have been on campus for a month and have been GREAT.”
If that last sentence didn’t make it clear, Calipari’s feeling GREAT about his team right now.
The World Cup Quarterfinals begin

A Swiss TV station tracked Brazilian star Neymar’s total time on the ground during the World Cup thus far and it’s 14 minutes. That number will surely rise during today’s match, making this commercial from KFC of South Africa even better:
