Yesterday was a good day. Let’s make today the same, Big Blue Nation.

Calipari talked the maturation of his freshman

Calipari spoke with Andy Katz after the game about the change he’s seen in his players and how he prepared his team for March.

Will it be Kansas State or UMBC?

Kentucky finds out their Sweet 16 opponent today at 7:40 pm ET. Will UMBC’s Cinderella story continue or will Kansas State end their story? I’ll be rooting for the Retrievers.

Today’s schedule:

(10) Butler vs. (2) Purdue 12:10 p.m. CBS
(11) Syracuse vs. (3) Michigan State 2:40 p.m. CBS
(7) Texas A&M vs. (2) North Carolina 5:15 p.m. CBS
(7) Nevada vs. (2) Cincinnati 6:10 p.m. TNT
(5) Clemson vs. (4) Auburn 7:10 p.m. TBS
(16) UMBC vs. (9) Kansas State 7:40 p.m. truTV
(9) Florida State vs. (1) Xavier 8:40 p.m. TNT
(13) Marshall vs. (5) West Virginia 9:40 p.m. TBS

Michigan wins on last-second buzzer beater

The Michigan Wolverines are moving on thanks to freshman Jordan Poole.Poole had not hit a three-pointer all game. He hit his one and only at the right time. I love March.

I love Sister Jean so much

The best part of this year’s NCAA Tournament is Sister Jean, a 98-year-old nun and Loyola-Chicago’s team chaplain. She has been at both Loyola-Chicago’s games and has stolen America’s heart.

Her scouting report on Tennessee is why the Ramblers won.

Alvin Gentry stands up for Anthony Davis

Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry was not happy about the officiating in the Pelicans and Rockets game on Saturday. Gentry went on a rant standing up for Anthony Davis, which few coaches do now awaydays. #AD4MVP

KSR Baseball remote Monday

Was there even one UK fan who didn’t say “oh, crap!” when Houston didn’t put a guy on the ball for that inbounds pass? Rick Pitino was probably screaming at the tv right about then. LOL!

How does Kentucky find out they’re Sweet 16 opponent today at 6:45ET when the K St/UMBC game doesn’t even start until 7:40 (which you stated right below that)? Pretty sure we won’t know our opponent until around 9:45 when the game ends.

Not sure about now awaydays but nowadays I see coaches standing up for their players quite often.
