Tiger Woods released a statement and it is hard to believe

As a big fan of Tiger Woods when he was changing the game of golf forever, the news of his DUI arrest and the mugshot that followed were hard to see. Tiger used to be a superstar that many young golfers idolized, myself included. Now he’s a shadow of the man he used to be, and today’s news may be rock bottom for his fall from grace.

So what does Tiger have to say for himself?

Well, he’s denying an alcohol consumption, which is pretty hard to believe. Here’s the statement he released to the public regarding his arrest:

Maybe it’s true and he mixed up his prescribed medications; I wasn’t there, so what do I know? But those glassy eyes in the mugshot, and the fact that it was 3 am when he was arrested, make me wonder if we’re getting the truth from Tiger here. No booze? Just a 3 am prescription mix up, right around the time bars close? I’m not buying it.

To be fair – he probably has access to LOTS of prescription pain meds. That’s still a DUI, but it could also make his statement true.

Thanksgiving 2009. The parade ended. The charade was over. America’s appetite for destruction circled Tiger like sharks. The bigger they are, the harder the fall; the more they bleed, the greater the frenzy. Woods dug his own grave, arguably deeper than 6 feet, but the media continues to ensure the dirt piles on and keeps his remains burried.

The media isn’t piling on..Tiger needs no help burying himself.

Opiates are a helluva drug. After 4-5 back surgeries, you know Tiger is addicted. Ambien my aching a$$

He let steriods and hgh ruin his body and now relies on opiates to cope. Anybody who thinks otherwise is naive.

Why is this so hard to believe? anyone who has serious injuries along with other health problems knows the probability of reactions like this. Add to that, that he is post surgical and there is little doubt that he may have had a reaction. Oh, and there are stories out that ESPN photoshopped the picture to make it look worse. Check your facts Drew

I told my golf buddys before we teed off that this would be the “statement”.
And oh by the way, anyone taking heavy pain meds a month after surgery ain’t driving at 3:am. You’re sleeping.

Nope, after a while pain meds do the opposite. They give you energy. And since he’s been on them why drink? Opiates crush Alcohol in the drug category.

I’m sure the story is legit. Just a little reaction or whatever. Move along, nothing to see here. Just like Hillary. Maybe they have the same Dr.

Just had to bring politics into a sports site, funny how the same people who respond with something that deals with politics in the comments section are the same ones telling ksr to stick to sports.

Exactly, these guys are the ones who keep bringing up politics. And the fact they criticize Hillary and believe everything that clown Trump tells them just shows how stupid they are.

I’m not sure why Tiger or anyone else thinks “alcohol was not involved” sounds better than driving on prescribed opiates. Just because he has a prescription does not make him any different than any other addict, addiction is addiction no matter how the substance is obtained and driving on them is illegal. And I’m sure ESPN photoshopped that picture to make it look worse because that wouldn’t be a major lawsuit….

Not illegal if you have a script.

You would be wrong Eazy….DUI means driving while under the influence….of what does not matter. Driving impaired is just as illegal with a script as it is if you got your dope from a street corner.

It does illustrate how addiction does not discriminate so I think he’s a pretty good poster boy.

Look at all these sick human beings commenting on someone’s else misfortunes. Most of these entitled LSR commentors are disgusting people.
Eww, let’s anonymously comment about Tiger’s DUI and make ourselves feel better about our own pathetic lives. You people are sick.
I’m sure all of you are doctors and pharmacists.
None of you F’ers know. But you will assume in hopes of some KSR attention.
It’s like on Twitter. Jack Dorsey will allow William Legate to harass the President and Sean Hannity. Let someone call Legate a cuck though. Dorset will suspend their accounts.
He taunted 4chan. Now Legate knows he got too big for his weet little sugar britches.
TwOtter and LSR comments gives beta male cucks anonymity to say things they would never have the courage to say in real life.
Would love to expose the skeletons in your sick people’s lives.

Yeah poor mistreated Tiger. The sad part here is his making excused instead of taking responsibility like when he claimed he cheated on his wife because he was a sex addict and felt entitled. Addicts don’t use because they feel entitled…they use because they don’t know how not to!

Just one thing, I sort of doubt that Tiger Woods is hanging out in the Jupiter bars at 2-3 AM. Maybe I could buy he was driving back up from Miami or something.

That being said, whether it was booze or pills, you can’t get behind the wheel when you are as incapacitated as he clearly was looking at that picture.

Like I said it’s like he thinks it’s ok to be driving impaired as long as there was no alcohol involved.
