Lewis is the 12th member of UK’s 2021 recruiting class that has loaded up on wide receiver talent. The four highest-ranked players in the class according to the 247 Sports Composite are all wide receivers. Lewis ranks second behind only Dekel Crowdus.
In 2019 the versatile athlete posted crazy numbers for Pleasant Grove High School, recording 75 receptions for 1,398 yards and 20 touchdowns. Lewis helped Pleasant Grove reach the 5A State Championship Game. He caught two touchdown passes before the Spartans were stopped one yard short of the end zone on the final play of the game, falling by a final score of 30-27.
Another recruiting win for Jon Sumrall, UK’s inside linebackers coach has now convinced four players from the Deep South to commit to UK’s 2021 recruiting class. If you take a look at Lewis’ highlight reel, it’s not hard to tell that he could be special for the Big Blue Nation.
