Three Kentucky Football commits in the new ESPN 300

ESPN just released its new top 300 rankings for the 2022 class, and three Kentucky Football commits made the cut. Six-foot seven, 300 lbs. offensive tackle Kiyuanta Goodwin moved up a few spots to No. 74, while the four-star Wade twins moved down slightly, Keaten, an outside linebacker, to No. 197 and Destin, an athlete, to No. 284.

When it comes to the players Mark Stoops, Vince Marrow, and staff are still pursuing, offensive tackle Aamil Wagner is No. 119, wide receiver Dane Key of Frederick Douglass is No. 214, and offensive tackle Tegra Tshabola is No. 218. On defense, defensive tackle Mykel Williams, currently committed to USC, is No. 56, and outside linebacker Jaron Willis, a Georgia Tech commit, is No. 148. Owensboro quarterback and Rutgers commit Gavin Wimsatt is still the highest-ranked prospect from Kentucky, moving up from No. 171 to No. 143. Check out the entire list here.

Kentucky currently has eleven commits in the 2022 class: Goodwin, the Wade twins, offensive tackle Grant Bingham, athlete Treyveon Longmire, athlete Jeremiah Caldwell, athlete Alex Afari, cornerback Andre Stewart, offensive tackle Nikolas Hall, tight end Josh Kattus, and kicker Jackson Smith.

Speaking of Goodwin, if you haven’t yet, check out Nick Roush and Adam Luckett’s interview with him on the latest stop of the Kroger Hometown Pickup Tour. He puts Roush through quite the workout.

Dude. That is a grown man. I feel sorry for the kids on the other side of the ball at the high school level. He looks and talks like a college senior. Guarantee he is never a college senior. That kid is no doubt NFL bound.
