A good ol’ fashioned brawl broke out in the second half of the FIBA World Cup qualifying game between Australia and the Phillipines. It began with a vicious elbow to the face of an Australian player and didn’t stop until Thon Maker started drop-kicking everyone in his path.
Once the court was cleared and tempers were diffused, officials decided to call the game at 89-53 in the third quarter, in favor of the Boomers.
But the verdict on the fight is still up for debate.
Thon Maker, what are you doing?
