This excerpt from Colin Cowherd’s book explains a lot

The hot takes from The Herd got a little too fiery when Colin Cowherd went in on Kentucky, then doubled down on his smack talk.  It’s drawn the ire of many, including Matt Jones, but that’s because that’s exactly what he wanted, kind of.  KSR reader Vic Rattlehead found this page from Cowherd’s book that reveals the method to the madness.

He garnered attention, lost control and now Cowherd has a hot, smoldering mess all over himself.

Is this straight out of the Donald Trump playbook?
Clearly, the Liar-in-Chief he has changed the game of politics by using the same shock-jock style to propel his messaging. Constant falsehoods, alternative facts, and hyperbolic exaggerations don’t matter when you are the only voice anyone hears or pays attention to. For better or worse, this will now be the norm for any public figure looking to get heard.

Oh if we could have just had President Hilary Clinton. There were NEVER things like falsehoods, alternative facts or hyperbolic exaggerations with her. If she had just won the election we would be living in a warm, fuzzy, perfect world. Damn you Putin!!!

Delray, you’ve made political comments on completely unrelated stories like 5 days in a row. You see Trump in everything. Seek help.

  3. I can explain it in a much shorter paragraph: Colin said he once told the then newbie broadcaster Doug Gottlieb that it’s MUCH more important to be interesting than to be right. ‘Nuff said.
