University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

The SEC continues to make a whole lotta money

It won’t surprise you, but the SEC continues to rake in money. Commissioner Greg Sankey just announced that the league pulled in $627.1 million of total revenue for the 2017-18 fiscal year, up from $596.9 million in 2016-17. The revenue will be split among the schools, meaning Kentucky will receive roughly $43.1 million.

Where does all that money come from? Television agreements, bowl games, the College Football Playoff, the SEC Football Championship, the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament, NCAA Championships and a supplemental surplus distribution.

The SEC: it really does mean more.

One thing is for sure…they aren’t spending any of that money for quality referees.

Anyone wondering why T A&M and Missouri wanted to come to the SEC?
