The Rick Pitino artwork on this bourbon bottle is wild

There is a special barrel pick of New Riff Distilling’s bourbon and its artwork pokes fun at Rick Pitino. And by pokes fun, I mean it roasts Rick Pitino.

Friend of the program Ed DeRosa shared the image, which shows a good and evil version of Pitino, on Twitter:

The good side has a clean-cut Pitino and his Kentucky team lifting a trophy beneath confetti. The evil side shows a worn-down Pitino and his Louisville players throwing money at a stripper, complete with a cartoon version of Kevin Ware in his wheelchair.

For those who want a bottle, you will have to know somebody who knows somebody who knows something ’bout it. A private group picked a barrel and designed the label themselves.

It. is. RUTHLESS.

I’m a UK fan but this is just a bit too much IMO, especially what I assume is Kevin Ware in a wheelchair. I wouldn’t even promote this on KSR.

At times I think KSR is defined more by hate for Louisville than love for Kentucky. I find the obsession strange. The label is in poor taste and not really even amusing. The Ware aspect is appalling. Everyone involved just comes off as a loser. Swing and a miss for covering this one.

Totally Agree. It sure who ‘approves’ articles but this does nothing but make UK and it’s followers look like idiots. Matt Jones must like this look. Disgraceful.

I agree. If I was Pitino I would sue (If you can do so in this situation) It’s too much.

Rather not see the blue half of the bottle. Maybe the left half could be Katina doing a book signing would be better. Greater dislike of coach 2 than that guy named Drew.

I think as is, coach2 would be first in line to celebrate his Camelot. Bwahahahahahaha

This pretty perfectly sums up the man. I could do without the apparent reference to Ware’s terrible, awful injury though. I get we hate little brother, but not once have I, or any other normal human beings celebrated a devastating injury. I hate Louisville, Duke, UNC, ku, iu, and the like, but I’ve never wanted to see one of their kids hurt.

OMG I just noticed Ware in that wheelchair. Yikes, this is brutal and uncalled for.

A lawsuit has to be forthcoming.

Meh…. I’m not impressed. Pitino and his players have been irrelevant for a few years now. Move on.

I’m always down for some good Pitino bashing, but that is trash. Hopefully the bourbon is better than the artwork.

    That is awesome!

    I love it.

    Pitino deserves that treatment.

He knew that he’d be viewed as a two face character for going to UL.

His choice and decisions have consequences.

    If he sues, he’s a b***h!
