The Offseason Podcast: How to Derby Like a Local

To mark the beginning of Derby Season we’re here to help you make the most of your time celebrating the Fastest Two Minutes in Sports.  There are plenty of great Kentucky Derby Festival events but how do you decide which ones to go to?  My good friend Sammy Reider joins me to provide advice to help you Derby Like a Local.  From what you should expect to see, to what to wear, we’ve got you covered.  Here are just a few highlights:

—  Churchill’s Hidden Gem: The RV Lot

—  No event is more underrated than the Mini-Marathon.

—  Derby Fashion 101: Prepare for bad weather, don’t wear heels and lay off the suits.

—  It’s time to bring back “climbing the infield flagpole.”

—  The University of Kentucky holds graduation on Derby Day and it’s a travesty.

—  Who to bet, how to bet, and when to bet.
