The Louisville Dance Team is Now a Reality TV Show

Photo via The Lineup

Since Breaking Cardinal Rules transformed the University of Louisville into Scandal U, people across Kentucky have made the tongue-in-cheek remark, “this could be a reality show.”  Well, a reality show about the University of Louisville is happening, but this show about dancers is safe for work.

“So Sharp” is a reality show that will follow coach Todd Sharp and his Louisville Ladybirds dance team.  Debuting on July 26 on Lifetime, the network describes Sharp as a “surrogate father and the head-bitch-in-charge.”

There’s a new force to be reckoned with on the dance floor and his name says it all! Todd Sharp is the coach of the University of Louisville Dance Team, the Ladybirds, and he’s driven, precise and over-the-top.

The team has over 15 national championships under their belt and with this year’s nationals fast approaching, Todd will push the ladies to another victory, even if it kills him. More than just a drill sergeant, these elite athletes count on Todd to be their guidance counselor, surrogate father and the “head-bitch-in-charge” who ultimately makes them shine.

As great as all that sounds, the show will not get me to watch Lifetime. Sorry, not sorry.

I can’t believe Nick Roush held you down and made yoy read this…my goodness. You realize that if they only posted KY stuff, they wouldn’t be able to have enough stories to fill each day. It’s a business man, not hard to understand.

First of all, who ever said I read it? Second, they have PLENTY of material between UK sports, ky politics, pop culture, etc… absolutely ZERO need for a UL article. Last, I think you mean ‘this is a business, man’… and being that this is indeed a business based on UK sports, I think it might be bad for business posting random UL material. Any other dumb comments?

Is Louisville not in the state of Kentucky?

I have some shocking news for you, Gobble…

Louisville is physically located in the state of Kentucky. The name of the show and site is “Kentucky Sports Radio,” not “University of Kentucky Sports Radio.” Yes, they’re openly a pro-UK company, but Louisville shenanigans are within their purview to report on

ha ha ha ha you mad bro? Mad that the banner is coming down soon? Or mad that Matt has a successful business going, man? lol
By commenting on the post, you put money in their pockets. Now you’ve commented three times. ” I think it might be bad for business posting random UL material.” …Nope, not if you keep commenting. Actually, Louisville posts get lots of comments because of all the Louisville fans who come out of the woodwork to comment. Any other stupidity you want to spew? Put more money in Matt’s pocket, moron. He has to pay for his trip to Europe.

Put gobble gobble with Slater and Luether to form KSR’s very own version of The Three Stooges.

It’s on lifetime, so I’m sure all ten women who watch it will have a problem a man is their coach.

I anticipate a spike in Crown Royal sales in Louisville on July 26th.

Now that’s some creative revenue! And Lifetime is the perfect channel for all things UL. The only thing on lifetime is movies about women who have psychotic breaks.
