The John Calipari groom’s cake is even more impressive than we thought

Bn4iD0WIYAAr87E

Last week, we posted a picture of a cake Southern Indiana baker Adrienne Holland made in the shape of John Calipari. Turns out that was a groom’s cake for a wedding this past weekend, and one of the guests sent us these pictures of the final product. From far away, it is downright creepy how lifelike it is:

Well done, Adrienne. Chances the bride and groom saved the hair to eat next year? After #9, perhaps?

Wonder if anyone pooped some ice cream to go with it?

Have groom’s cakes always been a thing in some places? Thankfully, I’ve never been to a wedding with one. The majority of them are things I’d be embarrassed to have had after my 9th birthday. Why do you want a cake in the likeness of a 50+ year old man you’ve probably never met on your wedding day? Open bar and plenty of bourbon should be the only thing a groom is concerned with in wedding planning.

I bet you’re a hit at parties. But then again, judging from your comment, I’d say nobody invites you anyway…..

      Freakin’ lighten up, Francis…..

no, he recommends plenty of bourbon at the open bar, so he does sound like fun. this cake is only appropriate at a 9 year old’s birthday party, like he said. adults don’t believe that a cake is what makes a party.

I wish you nothing but a lifetime of bliss and happiness, but the honeymoon must suck if you’re spending it in the KSR comment section.

The groom’s wife is the one who had it made. They are big UK fans and everyone had fun with it. I guess he’s not a little pansy like yourself and doesn’t get embarrassed about a cake.

A UK John Calipari cake but the wedding colors look like they are red and white. WTF?!! Shame to whoever agreed to these colors (probably the bride).
