They’re raising the kids right up here in Cleveland.
We spent our last Ohio watch party in Cleveland for the Arizona State game, where we hung out with the local alumni at Fox and Hound, a local bar and grill. The staff there had a room reserved for the alumni club.
Fox and Hound is a pretty cool place to hang out when in Cleveland. In addition to being a good place to watch sports (and since “watching sports” is a sore subject for a lot of people in Cleveland), there are also many pool tables and a couple of arcade games.
We had the room pretty full come game time and were definitely the loudest part of the restaurant for about two hours. A couple of folks had to peek their head in to see what was going on with the crazies in blue (especially after that dunk by Poythress).
The Cleveland Alumni Club does most of their watch parties for weekend games. Fox and Hound doesn’t host all of them either; they try to accommodate everyone by watching games in east, west, and central Cleveland. They update their social media pretty regularly, though, and if you’re in the area for a game you can catch them that way.
We will be in New York City for the Ohio State game next Saturday (along with many of you, I’m sure). We plan on watching the game at Jack Dempsey’s and if you’re in the city but couldn’t get tickets to the game, come join us!
Here’s a short video of our time in Cleveland!
