The 2019 Nike EYBL Peach Jam Finals are set

Two Kentucky targets will be facing off in the 2019 Nike EYBL Peach Jam title game tomorrow afternoon.

In a 92-89 victory over Boo Williams, Jalen Green and Team WhyNot came out on top this evening to advance to the championship.

Down 11 going into the fourth quarter, the 6-foot-6 guard out of Fresno, CA took the game over, finishing with 27 points on 11-16 shooting, four rebounds, and two assists. He had 20 in the final quarter alone, turning up the intensity with the game on the line to ensure his AAU season lasted one more day.

Between rim-shaking dunks, difficult finishes at the rim, and huge stops on the defensive end, the consensus top-five prospect did it all down the stretch.

Kentucky 2021 target Devin Askew also finished with 15 points, eight rebounds, and six assists in the win.

Team WhyNot will take on 2020 five-star center and potential reclassification candidate N’Faly Dante and his MOKAN Elite squad.

In the game before this, MOKAN defeated Houston Hoops 86-77 to move on to the title game. In the win, the 6-foot-11 center finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Green vs. Dante. Sunday. 2:00 p.m. ET. ESPNU.

Be there.

I have to admit I was looking for something a little more inspiring … like Green scoring 20 in the fourth … than a missed shot to end the game. That would have been nice to see.

This article was published right when the game went final. Tough to post highlights of a game when they haven’t been released yet.

Not a problem. You always do a great job of linking videos … I was just hoping this one would show Green. Hopefully that video is out there somewhere. This videos of the high school players are awesome because it is so hard to find them anywhere. Thanks.
