Tennessee Football eats ass, says AD Fulmer

Tennessee Football eats ass.

I’ve waited over a decade for a reason to write that exact sentence.

Now I can because the Vols’ athletic director and former head football coach, Phillip Fulmer, stood before a crowd at a National Signing Day event last night and said, “The Vols are back. And before long, we’ll be taking a bite out of everybody we play’s ass.”

That is a direct quote, believe it or not, heard below in this clip from WATE 6 out of Knoxville:

It is an odd rallying cry from the man who guided the Tennessee program to its only national championship back in 1998. If it were me, someone who has never coached football or led an athletic department, I would’ve said kick ass, maybe even beat ass.

To each their own though, I guess. Good luck with the ass biting and being back. Tennessee is “back” around this time of year, every year.

And cover your asses, SEC. It’s getting NC-17 out there.

So is Tennessee branching out into porno now, or is Fulmer in full blown Alzheimer’s?

Now we know their gameplan for any good team they face. If a player is locked in a block and the qb goes low to bite that a$$ so the RB can get by wouldn’t that be “c”lipping?

This might be my favorite article and comment thread all year. For a guy who made the Iowa caucuses look organized with the last coaching search, he’s been too quiet for my liking. Thx Phil for reminding us that if ur daddy marries his sister, it has lasting effects. Eat ass Vols! Awesome.
