The Southeastern Conference is going to be loaded with a ton of new individual talent joining the league next season.
Of course you have Kentucky, which is bringing in like 56 five-star All-Americans, per usual. Then there’s Alabama with the sixth-ranked recruiting class and Missouri with the seventh, including No. 1 overall player, Michael Porter Jr.
Now Tennessee is catching up in the name game with the addition of James Daniel III, a graduate transfer who led the entire nation in scoring two seasons ago.
Formerly of Howard University fame, Daniel averaged 27 points per game in his junior season, the nation’s best that year. Last year he suffered an ankle injury and only played two games, which has allowed him to transfer to Tennessee for one more year of basketball.
It’s a big pickup for the Vols and it adds even more potential star power to the league.
