Teki Gill-Caesar is heading to Missouri

Four-star recruit Montaque Gill-Caesar has announced that he will reclassify to the class of 2014, and will be playing basketball for the Missouri Tigers. Teki certainly waited til the last moment; many thought he would reclassify at an earlier date, and he was once an option for Kentucky when the Harrison twins were still deciding whether to enter the draft or not. Gill-Caesar released a statement this morning:

“I’m so excited to be joining the University of Missouri family and cannot wait to get on campus and get to work,” Gill-Caesar said. “Everything about my visit to Mizzou was perfect, but I wanted to be thorough make the decision that was best for me and my family. I already had great relationships with Coach Rob (Fulford) and Coach Fuller, but having a chance to meet Coach Anderson and get to know him on a personal level just put everything over the top. I want to thank my family and everyone at Huntington Prep for their support and I’m ready to be a Missouri Tiger.”

He should provide some instant help for the Tigers, who have a new coach and a young roster following the departure of Frank Haith.

I’m willing to part with my UK season tickets. Lower bowl 50 yard line. The whole lot for $100.

This happened because Rob Fulford, his coach at H Prep, was hired this summer by Mizzou.
