Ridden by Jose Ortiz and trained by Todd Pletcher, it’s Pletcher’s second Triple Crown win this year following Always Dreaming’s Kentucky Derby victory.
Irish War Cry placed and Patch showed. That’s right, a one-eyed horse came in third in the Belmont Stakes. This idiot could’ve won a cool $156 off the 50-cent trifecta, but chose Gormley, the fourth-place finisher, instead.
Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. I deserve this misery.
