Sunday’s Morning Wakeup

Cobb

Just going to look at this picture until I feel better. There’s no nice way to put it how much last night sucked, but we all have to move on and get ready for Missouri next week. It should be another great atmosphere with the late start and a big opponent coming into town. Until then….

Randall Cobb Will Play Today

Cobb was listed as questionable all week, but he will suit up tonight against the Seahawks. He was limited in Week 1 against Chicago to five receptions for just 38 yards, but he did make a great touchdown catch. Cobb will likely see a lot of Richard Sherman tonight, so it should be another tough matchup for the former Kentucky great but don’t be surprised to see another touchdown.

Keep an Eye on Big Z

After being a healthy scratch last week and pushing back his NFL debut, Za’Darius Smith could be starting today for the Baltimore Ravens. After Terrell Suggs went down for the season with a torn Achilles, there’s an opening for Smith to step in. It will be interesting to see how John Harbaugh uses him defensively, but there’s a good chance he goes from inactive to starting in just one week. The Ravens kick off at 4:05 ET against the Raiders.

At Least We’re Not Alabama

I know it’s an absurd statement not to be jealous of Alabama football. But, watch THIS play and tell me you’re happy to not cheer for the Tide.

We’ll have plenty of news for you throughout the day so stay tuned.
