I don’t know about you, but I woke up with a big smile on my face following a full day of college football. And also, because the Cats are 1-0.

The Cats are undefeated!

After a great first half and a not so a great second half, the Cats pulled out the W in their season opener. Kentucky defeated the Ragin Cajuns 40-33 on a Mikel Horton last-minute touchdown. Keep scrolling too see all the postgame notes from Nick, Drew and Tyler.

The Special Olympians opened the 4th Quarter of the game

Kentucky Wildcats TV delivers yet another awesome video with the Kentucky Special Olympians and our favorite song, Grove St. Party.

Why would we wake up with big smiles on our faces? The ksr circle jerk is getting out of hand. The fact of the matter is, the stadium is no different for the average fan, the football team is still average, and we’ve been overhyping this team all summer.

Half those retards could run the offense equally as bad ad Towles. Ok sorry that was uncalled for……at least 4 of them could.

I was probably the most upset fan last night, I had high hopes for this team and they were shattered last night. Then I saw this negativity b.s. from the fans. So I started thinking, we have 3 defensive players suspended for this game, one was hurt. are front 7 is going to get way better next week, Hatcher comes back for Florida. I watched are WR. dominate the CB’s and Safety’s of the other team. I saw we probably have the best three punch in the league. Play Kemp and boom for three quarters then bring in the finisher in Horton in the fourth. Towles had a extremely bad half, and played an avg.first half. If he learns to hit the guy in stride it’s over we win 8 games. We started over looking this team in the second half, that team had grit you have to, if you’ve had 4 consecutive 9 win seasons. it’s not the end of the world. Remember last year we came out clicking and fell apart I would rather start clicking later and finish the season strong.

I see you woke up and went straight for the Kool Aid pitcher in your fridge. Your first mistake this morning was to start thinking, it appears. Opening at home against a Sun Belt team should provide opportunity for backup defensive players to step right in and at least hold serve. Didn’t happen. And comments like “our front 7 is going to get way better next week” always crack me up. So you are assuming that only UK will improve and SoCarolina won’t make any improvement? They looked bad in their first game AND lost to us last year. I think they are going to be ready for UK. Who cares if our receivers dominate? Matters little until Barker is allowed to get them the ball on a consistent basis. Matters even less when the opponent (in this case, a Sun Belt team!) can run the ball down your throat. I watched some other SEC games yesterday….your comment about UK having the best 3 punch in the league is laughable. It looks like the Towles of the last 6 games last year is the real Towles. How long are you going to give him to “learn to hit the guys in stride”? 3 years? No, its not the end of the world. Last year the first half of the season was the easy half. That’s why we clicked. This year it will be interesting to see what happens when UK gets pasted in 4 straight games starting with Auburn. Auburn, MS St, UT and UGA will win by huge margins. And we will be 2-3 when we start that stretch. Oh well, we’re young, we have great recruits, NEXT year is the year. LOL

uncle sigh, I assume your a sad and lonely Louisville fan, we our going to get better, we showed we have the talent and the pieces in place to do that. I’m not throwing my QB under the bus due to a bad performance. Not once in my post did I trash your team for losing, i could give a rat as what your team does. We will get better your team probably won’t don’t hate us cause you ain’t us.

      P.S. your the reason I vote pro-choice

Not a UofL fan. In fact, I was quite happy to see Petrino screw up and waste his last timeout in their loss. What was it in the ULL game that showed you UK is going to get better and that we have the pieces in place? Was it getting out gained? Dominated in time of possession? Out coached in making adjustments? ULL making more 1st downs? ULL having more tackles for loss? Players playing scared and being intimidated by a Sun Belt team? You don’t have to throw Towles under the bus. You can throw Stoops, Eliot and Dawson under the bus for starters. You can throw 90% of our arm tackling defense under the bus (if Josh Forrest gets hurt, then it’s time to pack it in). i am a UK fan, I just get sick of tools like you that can’t see reality. News for you, EVERYBODY else will get better too. I HATE UofL, but if you have any clue about football and watched Lamar Jackson vs. the auburn D, then you would know the last game of the year is gonna be real ugly. Sorry bub, I don’t hide from the truth. Sadly, the truth is a 4 or maybe 5 win season if we are unbelievably lucky and somebody like Dak Prescott can’t play against us. As for Auburn, UGA, UT, Mizzou, UofL….they will ring up 50+ points on that horrible D. Only hope for next year is to put Barker in now to gain experience

Changing your qb doesn’t make you great. Then you must be just a uk basketball fan. If your a fan your a joke. It’s called the eye test, for three quarters we dominated. We let up and a team with grit came back. Tcu about lost to Minnesota. Should they throw there season away. Stanford lost should they quit trying. If your a fan I would rather have enemies. Uncle sigh
