Sunday Morning Links

Good morning Big Blue Nation. It’s officially the beginning of dead week for students at UK, which typically means it’s time for professors to pile on as much work as they possibly can during the last week of classes so that everyone is dead before finals…or at least that’s what it seems like. Send us your condolences. On to the links…

Mark Story writes about Patrick Towles, and how he went from a completely counted-out contender for the Kentucky quarterback race to suddenly the apparent front runner

-Gregg Doyel talks about how while many are pointing the finger at the Harrison twins and Calipari, saying it was an obvious failure of perceived one and dones, the failure actually falls on the media and what they projected for the twins. Great article..

-Yesterday’s Spring Game saw a potent running attack from all of the backs combined, and Eric Crawford writes about how it might not yet be time for the Air Raid, but the ground game is here to stay

-In the NBA Playoffs, OKC fought off a bad night from Durant and Westbrook and used stellar play from Reggie Jackson to defeat the Grizzlies in overtime to even up the series

-The 9th ranked Kentucky softball team is now 40-10 following last night’s win over powerhouse Tennessee and they look for the series victory today in Lexington at 2 pm.

The hype has begun now with Andrew and Aaron coming back. A lot of media outlets going crazy about our boys. Love reading all the articles about UK’s team next season, can’t wait for Big Blue Madness. SH had a really nice writeup ysterday http://straighthoops.com/one_and_not_done.html

Who cares about professors at UK and that it’s dead week? How does that affect UK sports. I doubt the majority of your readership is in school anymore.

I want Towns and Trey starting at 3 and 4. Poythress can’t cut it.
I hope Lee gets plenty of time at the 4 spot. And I hope Booker
and Ulis get a lot of minutes. This will pressure the twins to continue
to play like they did in the tournaments.

No, if anyone can’t cut it, it would be you, Moron. You are a terrible poster. You represent a compelling argument for eliminating the 1st Amendment. Wish we could arrange for you to share your expert evaluation of Poythress, so he could rearrange your face.

If Poythress starts, major sign of weakness.

With my extensive and diverse experience in coaching, I am highly trained to recognize both minor and major signs of weakness, and feel that it is my duty to report these to KSR readers.

UCLA loses 4 of 5 starters. Losing Adams is huge. I wish they weren’t so depleted for our matchup next year!
