Kentucky went down to Nashville and showed us that the wheels truly have fallen off. This is a different team from the beginning of the year, and our bowl future is in jeopardy. The Cats now must win out in their last two games of the season to go to a bowl, including a win against UL in Commonwealth. QB problems only got worse during the game, and now a total sense of confusion surrounds the program going into what should be a cupcake matchup against Charlotte.

LSU is on a Hail State-esque fall from the top after a 31-14 home butt-whoopin from Bielema and the Razorbacks. Fournette’s Heisman chances have been all but shattered, and after a loss to Bama last week, LSU has now pretty much secured their spot outside of the college football playoff field. The Razorbacks are the hottest team in the SEC and they are looking to finish the season strong after their rough start.

Rousey got rocked. She is no longer undefeated and lost her belt on Saturday night against Holly Holm. It was the biggest upset in UFC history, and Rousey didn’t have a chance from the start. It was a shocking fight to watch, but surely nobody was more shocked than Rousey herself. She took a nasty kick to the neck early in the 2nd round and from there it was curtains.

Bledsoe went off for the Suns last night, dropping 30 points at home against Mudiay and the Nuggets. He has averaged 23.2 points per game so far this season to lead the Suns, along with 6.2 assists and 4.4 rebounds. Bledsoe has been the example to follow in Phoenix this season beside his running mate, Brandon Knight, who is also averaging nearly 20 points per game.

The big showdown between the Cats and Dukies is set for 7:30 pm on Tuesday night as the early game of the Champions Classic. How sweet it would be to take the Blue Devils off their high horse coming off a championship and to assert ourselves firmly back into the national spotlight as the number-one team in the nation. Both teams have had no issue scoring the ball so far this year, and this game could turn into an early season shootout in Chicago.
