Stallings to UK! YAHTZEE!!!

Anyone call for a YAHTZEE this evening? If so, you got one.

Kentucky just received a commitment from Jervontius Stallings, per Justin Rowland. The 15th ranked center in the Top247, Stallings picked the Cats over Mississippi State.

He’s 6-foot-3, 305 pounds and the newest member of Kentucky’s 2014 football recruiting class.

Only one more name to get…

Gotta get Elam tomorrow, it could change the course off UK football forever. Not to many wins to hang our hat on after year one bit clearly recruiting id’s the first step and this staff is great. Stoked about next year and finally beating Petrino! GO CATS!

I can’t wait another year people, they gotta do something this year. Last year about killed me, can’t somebody inspire this bunch? Beat them, water board them, surgically implant some balls on, anything, we need to win!!!!

      Orney Focker –
Are you talking about the Basketball Team?
I don’t know about you, but I’m heartened by Stallings committing.
Needed that after the LSU game!

    Dave…

    1) he has been playing football for barely 2 yrs…

    2) has great mobility and Is very athletic for his size

    3) he has Sec size… Something we don’t have right now on our o-line.

    L O U I S V I L L E idiots are just jealous because…

    1) they don’t have a ranked recruiting class outside of the top espn 40.
    2) they haven’t played a ranked team in over a year and haven’t beaten a ranked team in bball yet.
    3) no balls.

Yep,,,,I can’t imagine why he would turn down an offer like that. I have your good hanging

247 has him as a 3-star. Most importantly, he’s being recruited by SEC teams, even if they’re not elite SEC teams. It’d be one thing had we stole him from EKU. He’s a very nice last second get.

I’m assuming all the negative vibes are for trolls because there’s no reason to be negative about football. Maybe back in November when 2-10 was still stinging…but not now. Take your aggression out on the people who deserve it…Cal and his heartless squad.

The other important thing here: Doesn’t Marrow know already if he is getting Elam? Didn’t they meet with him this afternoon/evening? I really, really don’t think Elam goes to us. But why would Marrow mention “Hopefully another tomorrow” if he already knows we are going to be shut out?

    • Jason
      8:29 pm January 29, 2014 Permalink

I have a feeling Marrow and the rest of the staff have not been notified about Elam. Plus, considering they don’t want to ruin his moment, even if they knew he was coming here, wouldn’t post it, of course, and instead would go with a “maybe”.

Check out this kids highlights on hudl. Alabama high school looks looks like small college compared to what Elam goes against here in Kentucky. Good size and good mobility against what looks like good defense line play. This kid will prove a great get for the wildcats!

If Elam has KSR come down to his school, so he can say he is going to Bama, that would be a pr!ck move.
