Someone needs to revise our Urban Dictionary definition

Screen Shot 2014-07-23 at 2.11.00 PM

You’re looking at the Urban Dictionary definition of “Kentucky Wildcats.” My favorite part? We actually did win the National Championship in 2012. Take that, tangytoes.

Just gonna leave this link right here.

UPDATE: And now, the definition for “Kentucky Wildcats” has been removed. I’d call that a success.

I have a feeling that after this post Louisville will have a definition in the urban dictionary. I am very hopeful but feel very confident that it will include “linebeards”, “tattoo’s”, “Crown Royal”, and “flat billed hats”.

I can’t find that definition under Kentucky Wildcats in that dictionary. Has it been removed or did you make it up? What does “immoratlize” mean? Aren’t dictionaries suppose to be the paragon of spelling? Immortalize? Immoral-ize?

How can we tell that a Louisville fan wrote this? That is simple. There are at least nine grammatical errors in that first paragraph. I understand that the only phrase UL fans really have to master is “Do you want fries with that?”, but when trolling on UK fans, they could at least make an effort to speak English.

Also known as “Loserville” as they are 1-6 in basketball games in the past few years versus their arch nemesis University of Ky. Wildcats and the ridiculous L sign they make and place over their forehead (which has been the universal sign for loser for over a decade). They do not consider themselves as part of the state of Kentucky this due to their overwhelming misunderstanding of US geography. Their fan base can be denoted by slim line beards, heavy consumption of Canadian whiskey, cruising on 40 inch rims (deemed dubs), and heavy base music.
The head coaches of both basketball and football teams have been placed at the center of extra marital affairs (although basketball coach pitino stated his did not really count due to the extremely short period of time, 3 seconds, under oath).
Be aware when encountering their fan base! Due to their limited ability to construct effective conversation they will often resort to violence and kill u with their gat (.40 caliber pistol). See also..gangsta, dirty bird, white trash.

    They rejected my post…

“Let’s take a gander down the streets of Old Louisville. What it means to be a CARD…we pride ourselves on chin straps and flat bills of the color Black and Red. We throw up the classy “L’s” every chance we get (selfie). Oh, and L1C4 is the way of life. Ride or die. Ol’ Slick Rick who could forget, he’s obviously one of best college basketball coaches EVER! Yet, he’s won as many titles at UK as he has UL. 🙁 We hate when we get called the Little brother of the state. But, in reality it’s so true. (well argue till we’re blue in the face) UL’s favorite season…football! Classy Papa John’s Cardinal stadium with head coach cheatin skeetin Bobby P. Who loves his motorcycle rides with classy broads from the corner of 17th street. Our fan base is the classiest of classy, we love coming to watch our football team win. Yet we can’t fill up Papa John’s when our team is good. We’d rather get housed off Coors light in a concrete parking lot and go home when we can’t walk anymore.

It’s great to be a Cardinal as you can see. Come take a visit to campus and see where you belong. (Wear Cargo’s and some J’’ll fit right in!)”

You mean UL who is the most profitable team in college basketball or UL football team that is preseason top 25 and beat a team in a bowl game tha UK has not beat in 26 years or the baseball team that went to world series or the womens basketball team that has been in FF4’s and national championship game in last 2 years…or UL that has the best best sports facilities in state and top 5 in college? yea it sucks to be a UL fan

I think he means the UL that is 1-6 against Cal since he came to UK. Not to mention Cal’s knocked the birds out in 2 NCAA tourneys in 3 years. All that success but cant beat big brother when it really matters.

It both amuses and annoys me that U of L fans have so much free time and so little of importance to do with their lives aside from playing video games in their parents’ basements, and such a massive inferiority complex, that they resort to this type of buffoonery. I would never waste my time trying to troll U of L fans in such a manner because I simply don’t care and have better things to do with my time.

Please, someone with an account, post this on my behalf.

The Louisville Cardinals (Cards) are a popular sports team for a certain percentage of people in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Often defined by other, more superior teams as “Little Bro” for their disbelief of their own inadequacy and their ambivalence to successes of teams more fortunate than them, the Louisville Cardinals have a dedicated fan-base that is not to be trifled with under any circumstances on message boards or in day-to-day life. The Louisville Cardinals are famous for their glimpses of greatness, their acceptance and even celebration of coaches whose reputations are severely tarnished, and their dedication to the sports they love (i.e., any sport they have any success with). The Louisville Cardinals have had some recent success in the two major collegiate sports (trips to the Orange Bowl in football, and an NCAA basketball championship in 2013). Louisville has placed several players in the pros over the past few seasons.

Also of note- some Louisville Cardinals fans do not believe that Louisville is in the state of Kentucky. To that note, fans of other teams have a difficult time finding Louisville on a map of Kentucky, citing that, “Louisville doesn’t exist.”

Louisville’s rivals include UK basketball outside of the tournament, UK basketball in the midst of the tournament, UK football, University of Memphis, Bobby Petrino*, Matt Jones, and Kyle Tucker.

    * denotes that this person was once the most hated man in Louisville, but is now the football program’s savior.
