Shaq Visited Buffalo Trace, Did his Son Visit UK?

@Shaq | IG

Shaq and Pappy.  The picture the Naismith Hall of Famer posted from Buffalo Distillery went unnoticed two weeks ago, but there could be a hidden Kentucky basketball recruiting message.

O’Neal sampled Pappy Van Winkle at the Buffalo Trace Distillery on September 22, the day before the Kentucky-Florida football game.  When The State-Journal asked Buffalo Trace why O’Neal made the visit, the distillery declined to comment on Shaq’s visit.

Timing says the visit might have to do with his son.

Earlier this week, a recruiting analyst predicted Shareef O’Neal would flip his commitment from Arizona to Kentucky.  Sean Miller’s program is now under investigation by the FBI, so it would make sense for the No. 33 player in the class of 2018 to reconsider his commitment.

Shortly after that report surfaced, O’Neal denied it with subtweets.

No one has reported that Shareef O’Neal was in Lexington the weekend of the Florida game.  The Instagram picture Shaq posted doesn’t provide proof, but it is a dot that you can easily connect.

    Wasn’t the Shaq visit before we found out about the FBI investigation, that the schools themselves didn’t know about? How would Shaq know? Connect those dots please, since its soooo easy.

    Yes – This tweet has way too much read into it. Shaq was here but it had nothing to do with his son.

    But also Yes – It’s a known fact (because it came out of Shaq’s mouth) that he would like his son at UK.

    With the issues at Arizona, it’s not a far reach to think he will flip to UK. Just sayin’
