The brother of one familiar face will be suiting up for another familiar face next season.

Here are some of his highlights:

Oddly enough, Evansville is scheduled to play Kentucky in the regular season this year, meaning the Wildcats will get to face both McCarty and Gilgeous-Alexander at Rupp Arena next season.

According to McCarty, the matchup is scheduled for the beginning of November.

“November 11, 12 or 13th of 2019-20, we will play them,” the former Kentucky forward said. “That’s what the plan is.”

Mccarty lost like the teams top 4 players who favored the old coach. He started this season from scratch. It will be interesting to see if he can turn Evansville around.
