This morning, former Kentucky cornerback Derrick Baity was released by the Houston Texans.
Throughout the day, several other former Wildcats were unfortunately added to the list of players cut by their respective franchises.
In the most shocking of all moves, Giants beat reporter Ryan Dunleavy reported this afternoon that CJ Conrad was released by the team.
Here's a surprising one: #Giants cut TE C.J. Conrad, per source. I thought he had the best chance of all the UDFAs. May be 0 of them this year.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys placed Chris Westry on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, with the New York Giants also doing the same with George Asafo-Adjei due to a concussion.
In terms of Kentucky’s most recent draft class, Josh Allen (Jacksonville), Lonnie Johnson (Houston), Mike Edwards (Tampa Bay), and Benny Snell (Pittsburgh) all made the 53-man rosters of their respective teams, as expected.
Other former Wildcats who were released were Jon Toth (New York Jets), Jeff Badet (Minnesota), and Farrington Huguenin (Tampa Bay).
Best of luck to each of the former Kentucky football players in their search for new homes.
