– It’s rivalry week in college football. Here is the full schedule of today’s SEC Football games. The Football Cats start the day off by facing our in-state rivals, the Louisville Cardinals. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN2 at noon. #BEATLOUISVILLE

The much anticipated Iron Bowl (Alabama/Auburn) and Egg Bowl (Ole Miss/Miss. St) are going to be the biggest games in all of college football today. In case you somehow missed last year’s Iron Bowl, here is a little refresher.

Missouri defeated Arkansas yesterday 21-14 to take the SEC East title. The Missouri Tigers have won two consecutive SEC divisional championships. Mizzou quarterback, Maty Mauk, threw for 265 yards and one touchdown. The Tigers will face the winner of the SEC West on Dec. 7 in Atlanta.

– UK Hoops defeated Oklahoma in OT in the Paradise Jam Friday night. Mikayla Epps scored a career-high of 29 points in the 92-88 overtime win. Epps scored 9 of those points in overtime to seal the deal against the Sooners. Sophomore Linnae Harper added 22 points of her own in the victory. Catch the highlights here.

“Great strides taken tonight by our team,” Epps said. “Coach Mitchell pulled us in to watch film today and we probably watched film for a good two hours. It was all about playing hard, having to play with determination and playing with heart. Even though we are here in the Virgin Islands, which is a beautiful place, we just came down here to win some games and that’s exactly what we did tonight.”

– The No. 15 ranked volleyball team will host Arkansas in the Senior Night matchup on Sunday. The game will be broadcasted on the SEC Network at 7 p.m.. Seniors Alyssa Gergins, Jackie Napper and Lauren O’Conner will be honored before the match.

– In case you need a reminder, the Basketball team will face an undefeated Providence team at 2 p.m. on Sunday on ESPN2. The Cats will start a rough stretch of games starting with Providence and then a No. 7 ranked Texas on Friday.

A home and home series with UCLA next season was finalized this week due to the fact that there will be no UNC game next season. The UNC-UK game will return in 2016-17 and will be played in Las Vegas. Read about all the details here.
