Saturday Morning Links

Good morning, ya’ll. Hope everyone had a pleasant, restful Friday night. Let’s look at some links, shall we?

— In case you hadn’t heard, Paul George broke his leg pretty badly last night in a Team USA scrimmage. As gruesome as the injury looked, broken bones usually aren’t as ominous as torn ligaments – so hopefully Paul will be able to make a full recovery soon. Sending prayers your way, PG.

— It’s always fun to gain an outsider’s perspective. Here, a University of Georgia site breaks down the 2014 Kentucky football team pretty thoroughly. Pretty insightful read and a reminder that football is right around the flippin corner.

— Never too early to star thinking about the NFL Draft, right? Rant Sports evaluates some of Kentucky pro prospects, paying special attention to Alvin Dupree an Za’darius Smith. Check it.

Georgia article has Raymond Sanders as returning starter and Javess ‘Bell’ as returning receiver. How hard is it to check the roster before posting just to make sure.

Hopefully the Bulldogs prepare as well for the UK game as the author of this article did… If so, I wouldn’t be so quick to pencil in that W!

He makes it sound like our starting QB transferred unexpectedly leaving us high and dry…

A Vandy student writing for KSR (well posting links, not really writing)? Are you guys that hard up for writers that you can’t at least find a UK student?

I was there when Kevin Ware’s leg snapped, and when Paul George’s leg snapped. I’m the devil. A devil that really likes cheese.

I wonder how many ppl who tweeted “prayers your way” to PG actually took the time and said a prayer for him, including you Caleb. I bet 5% of the people who said they were going to pray for him actually did it. Drives me crazy when ppl say that just to fit in.

ukfan, Don’t go crazy trying to judge the intent of others.
Just do the right thing yourself and have peace.

Well why don’t you pray for the leg to heal overnight if your praying actually works? You don’t pray for it because you don’t believe in the bible yourself!
