Ryder Cup fan heckles Rory McIlroy about putt, proceeds to make same putt
An American fan following the Europeans at Hazeltine today was pulled out of the crowd to attempt a putt Rory McIlroy and Andy Sullivan couldn’t sink.
After the fan heckled the European golfers over the putt, Henrik Stenson invited the heckler to give it a try, as Justin Rose tossed a $100 bill next to the ball.

I would’ve ridden the putter around the green like Happy Gilmore.

That’s friggin’ hilarious. I bet Stenson turned a few shades of red.
No doubt he’s a taller gentleman but that putter can’t be longer than 33 inches. If it wouldn’t have hit the cup it might still be rolling. Went in though. Kudos for backing up the smack.
That was great. The crowds reaction was even better.
