Even though many future Cats will have another chance to continue their season this Friday, A.J. Rose is not one of them. His team finished 2-8 and he’s a commit you probably never hear about, but don’t count him out. Rose makes some jaw-dropping plays.
The Class of 2016 commit was a jack-of-all-trades. Rose put the team on his back. Carrying a heavy load, the running back rushed for a combined 424 yards and 5 touchdowns in his two best games. But they don’t list him as “athlete” for no reason. He also took snaps as a quarterback and split wide as a receiver. Rose also dabbled in defense, the side of the ball he’ll likely play at UK.
Check out his season highlights and enjoy the agility and acceleration. He has an impressive “second gear” thanks to the way he picks up his knees when he runs. No matter where he ends up playing at UK, he’ll be moving fast and running hard.
