You have about an hour until the season finale of Listicuffs featuring a showdown between Matt Jones and Tom Hart. Until then, here are some random notes for no other reason than to share a collection of things:

— Let’s begin with some TV roster moves as the SEC Network loses two big names to ESPN’s NFL coverage. Laura Rutledge and Marcus Spears, a couple of the south’s on-screen stars, were announced as part of ESPN’s new revamp of NFL Live. Rutledge will host the show with Spears sitting nearby as an analyst. They will be joined by Keyshawn Johnson, Dan Orlovsky and Mina Kimes to complete the new set. It’s a big loss to SEC Nation, but the new look NFL show sounds exciting.

— The Eddie Sutton documentary, watch it. It’s called “Eddie” and it can be found on demand via WatchESPN the website or app. It is a fair account of the life and career of Eddie Sutton, all the highs and lows. It also includes a lot of great shots from Kentucky basketball past, like this one:

The best part is Rex Chapman speaks his truth about Sutton’s alcoholism, their relationship and how his own life has helped him better understand his old coach. Watch it.

High school football in Tennessee is delayed. Minor League Baseball is canceled. At least we have Commonwealth Collegiate Baseball League? They’re playing live baseball at Whitaker Bank Ballpark as we speak.

Sucks about the Legends though. The Legends organization is great for the Lexington community and for minor league baseball. Let’s hope it survives to see 2021.

— Matt Jones says he has big plans for tomorrow morning’s radio show. Things got a little off track in the second hour today (and not in the fun way) so he teased something fun for tomorrow’s show to reset.

If you missed the second hour, these are the two calls that took things sideways:

Tomorrow is also Garrard County’s day in the spotlight, so tune in and call in if you’re from the area.

Go Cats.

I listened to the show. Matt bullied both callers as is his personality when there are opinions different than his. And without Shannon around there is no buffer. Felt bad for both of them as I realized what they were trying to express. Oh well. Maybe Matt was just having a bad day as McGrath was getting her win in the primary?
