Randle Posts A Special Thank You

randle

Following his autograph tour this weekend, Julius Randle sent out a special thank you to the fans that came out to support him as he enters the NBA Draft.  He recently posted a heart-warming photo of him greeting a young Wildcat fan.  Just another great showing of character from a former Kentucky player.  It’s sad to see him leave, but following John Wall and others’ footsteps, he will continue to make BBN proud on & off the court.

Class act on and off the court. Typical Cal player. Finding ways to give back to fans and community.

“These kids come in for a year and don’t care about anything but getting to the next level” – Pat Forde’s of the world.

If Cal was a third of what they thought and write that he is…these kids wouldn’t go around the state or stay for the second semester. We can talk all day long on what is the best thing Cal does as a coach….at the end of the conversation, for me, it’s seeing how he gets great players who are just as great off the court as they are on it. How he gets them to understand what it means to be a UK player on and off the court. Not sure there has been anyone better at finding young men who give back so much to the fans. Rick was good…Joe B was really good…Cal is great.

So proud to claim you as a part of BBN!! You’ll do great things in the NBA. Now go take care of your mother. She’s a special lady. She did an awesome job raising you. Wish you could have left with a title.

We met him at Hillbilly Days, Pikeville, this past Saturday. He only smiled and stood by my son for a photo. No words were exchanged. Kinda sad though especially after we paid $15 for for my son to take a photo with him!

Whoops, just read a post that it is a little girl in the picture. Kind of hard to tell, I should have said “person”.
