I think the card fans have forgot about the UK game and now they are all about the bowl game. I really hope GA puts a beat down on them.
Where is the KSR app? I give up on the 24 hrs of Ryan Lemond.
They haven’t forgotten, they just use the bowl game as an excuse to not talk about it. All I get from them when I bring up the game is “It’s still football season for us, I’ll worry about basketball season after football season ends. See you in March.” What a friggin joke they are.
BBB, I hope we do see them again in March. The only thing better than knocking Louisville out of the tournament is winning the title. I hope we do both this season.
yeah J, I agree. My response is “I would love to see you in March. Nothing like knocking you out of the tournament three out of four years. We beat you in your house, a neutral court will only get you a beatdown.”
I am tired of hearing from Uofsmell fans about how tough they played. I call that a moral victory and top shelf programs do not have moral victories just victories. They like to make fun of UK fans for football claiming those…therefor is the Uofsmell BB team on par with our football program??
Did anyone else notice Tony Malito (the dealer for the people) in the pic next to J-Law? Knowing his commercials, there may not be a more fitting person to sit in the UL suite.

Matt, can you please speak to these Louisville yahoo’s that keep proclaiming the only difference in the game was them missing “open shots” I’m doing my best to avoid it, but it seems like their fanbase collectively are all taking crazy pills. Oh and go Georgia, beat Louisville!
Well, that’s how you win the game, right? If you can’t make the ball go through the hoop, you’re going to lose – even my 9-year-old knows that!
How much do you think the pressure that will mount as this team continues to win will affect our tournament run? My only issue is there are a lot of really good teams this year(Duke, Wisconsin, Virginia, Zona, etc.) that are getting a free pass while everyone talks about us. Just curious on your opinion…

Lachlan McClean made a huge bet on Texas last night. Loved seeing him lose.
Strong may turn TX around, but it’s going to take a while.
Arkansas and Brett Bielema are scary, IMO.
I believe Charlie Strong may turn out to be one of those guys who is a great defensive coordinator but is just not head coaching material. Take Bridgewater out of the equation and see what his record is. I haven’t compiled it lately but I believe he is below .500.
I told all of my loserville acquaintances last season that they will miss Bridgewater much more than they miss Strong. I believe UofL benefitted more than anyone from the Miami sanctions. Many of the recruits they got during that time (including Bridgewater) would have otherwise gone to the U.

I feel like we can’t really bank on players returning after Orton got drafted in the first round when he averaged about 3 points and 1.5 rebounds per game….
You make a good point, but I don’t think that applies to the twins. Seven footers are given more potential value if they are skilled at all. I still don’t think the twins — especially Andrew — are going anywhere.
I’m just trying to prepare myself for the worst, that everyone goes. Then, anyone who comes back is a pleasant surprise.
Not at all worried about the Cavs and David Blatt at this point. We’ll see what happens, but it’s ridiculous to worry about something like that at this point.

Matt, when talking about previous UK top picks on this team, MKG definitely gets more minutes than anyone on the current roster….over Poy & Lyles.
Don’t forget Bledsoe either; he is very underrated and is simply a nightmare matchup.

Stop using quotation marks. They donโt work like you want them to work. Using quotation marks for emphasis is the epitome of grammatical ignorance.
So I used quotation marks to quote. If you wanted to argue that I didn’t quote correctly but was summarizing that would be a good argument. However, I wasn’t using them for emphasis. Keep trying.
again cats paw, he didn’t use the marks for emphasis, he used them correctly. Here is an example of using them for emphases: I “really” hate cats paw. Here is an example of using them correctly: Matt Jones said “I really hate cats paw.”
If you need to hide your phone, you’re probably not ready to be in a relationship.
If you allow your team to start thinking about the ball being a problem, you are setting yourself up for failure. The last thing you want to do is having your kids thinking about a certain ball being slippery or different.
