Five-star power forward Jarred Vanderbilt narrows his recruitment to ‘Final Four’ schools

Five-star power forward, Jarred Vanderbilt has narrowed down his list to the final four schools and yes, Kentucky made the cut. Vanderbilt is also considering North Carolina, TCU and Oregon. Prior to tonight’s announcement, 247 sports’ crystal ball had reported the 6’8” forward at 50% Kentucky, 33% TCU, 11% Texas and 6% Kansas.

Vanderbilt has a few ties to Kentucky seeing as he played with De’Aaron Fox for the Houston Hoops, and we all know how aggressive of a recruiter Fox is. Malik Monk’s Arkansas Wings competed against Vanderbilt as well, who retweeted one of Monk’s encouraging “come to BBN” tweets earlier in the year.

Things are looking hopeful for Kentucky, but stay tuned to KSR for all of your recruiting updates on Jarred Vanderbilt and more!

It would be extremely surprising if he decided to come to UK considering we already have 2 five-star bigs committed and considering the players who will likely come back (Humphries, Wynyard, Gabriel and Killeya-Jones), unless some of them transfer. My best guess is that he ends up at UNC or Oregon.

Putin…..The first communist liberals don’t love.

You lost because your candidate was horrible and your President crapped on everything American for 8 years.

If you think Wenyen is coming back, you’re wrong. Vanderbilt will play the 3 in college. Actually, we really need him. Adding him Bmamba and Diallo seems very likely imo. But who am I? I’m just someone’s uncle….

Most mock drafts dont have Wenyen in the top 50, that could change but right now he definitely isn’t viewed as certain first round pick. Vanderbilt reminds me a lot of Terrence Jones and Alex Poythress, he looks like he can play the 3 but would be much better off playing the 4. Bamba makes no sense to me as we already got Nick Richards who is practically the same type of player (maybe slightly worse) and there would be no way those two could play on the court at the same time, it would be like Willey and Nerlons offensively all over again. I could definitely see Diallo coming though, he would easily start at either the 2 or 3.

Gabriel has a higher upside than either Jones or Poythress, I think, because of his guard skills. In the NBA, he can be a “small ball” 4 or 5 or even a big 3. HIs problem right now is that he’s a jack of all trades, master of none. He has to find at least one thing he excels initially, just to form his identity going into the draft. Because of the nature of his game, he has a lot of pieces to put together, but I would not be shocked if he really blossoms in February. With such diverse potential, he has the chance to become yet another nightmare for opposing coaches to account for.

Why can’t we comment on Miller’s post? Trump is killing you every second isn’t he. You die every day. Just can’t take it. We are all so stupid and you guys are all so smart! Haha.

Because liberals love to kill free speech. If you do not agree with them, they try to censor you.

    • Maybe we can get the Russians to hack his posts so we can comment. 😉

    • Seriously, it is crazy. Matt wants someone who agrees with his nutty political views writing a political post on here, but neither of them can take the heat in the comment section.

“Because liberals love to kill free speech. If you do not agree with them, they try to censor you.”

Meanwhile your president-elect wants to “open up libel laws” so he can sue newspapers if he doesn’t like what’s written about him. And you say liberals love to kill free speech?

You guys are hilarious. Don’t ever change.

I was going to say I didn’t know we had so many alt-right types here, so much white resentment. But it’s Kentucky. So yeah, I should have suspected.

But I wasn’t expecting Trump supporters who also have a favorable opinion of Putin. That’s another level of pathological.

The Democrats should be ashamed of trying to disenfranchise half of America simply because we have the wrong color skin and don’t live in asphalt gulags.

“open up libel laws”. Good. Newspapers can print whatever they want and get away with it. It’s about time they are going to be held accountable.

Anytime in history you have a Republican Pres and control of both houses you have a recession. Republicans simply can;t govern! They have proven it time after time. Republicans say government doesn’t work, then they get elected and prove it! LMAO Within two years, all the billy bob’s on here will be blaming the black guy

You political sheep are playing right into their hands. Both Republican and Democratic elected officials have sold out to third party interests. Think Trump is different because he is an outsider? Bah! He is his own special interest. He is going to do whatever benefits his business ventures, and those of his wealthy cronies. I sincerely hope I am wrong, but it is pretty obvious that the pursuit of power and money are numeral uno on his list. Anything that stands in his way is fair game.

You are right in the sense that any person in office will have his own agenda. The only way to avoid that is to leave the office vacant. All humans have agendas of some kind.

Wow! Jonathan Miller…you lost the election because of your candidate, not because of Russia or Podesta or Comey or any other person or thing. You lost because you put one of the most unlikable, untrustworthy, out of touch people in the history of this country up for President of the United States of America!

    Let the ban, begin!

I do think it’s funny how they lock down “controversial” threads, and everyone always responds on another one. Why lock the first one down to begin with? It accomplishes nothing except making another thread be off-topic.
