Pleasure Ridge Park was able to hold off a seventh-inning rally by Simon Kenton to win their sixth state title.
Simon Kenton trailed 6-2 going into their last at bat in the top of the seventh but the Pioneers were able to find three runs to make it a 6-5 ball game with one out left and the winning run at the plate.
The Panthers were fortunately able to complete their last out in order bring the title back to Louisville.

I got the chance to watch PRP play a couple times this year, and they definitely deserved the title. Congrats to the Panthers!
